Now it's your turn...

Yesterday, I sent you the full Child Personalities guide. It's something I suggest you bookmark, revisit, and share with your spouse.

Parents often take that quiz, read the results, and think,
“So that explains why they behave the way they do.”

That’s a great first step.

But there’s something every parent eventually discovers:
A child’s wiring is only half the picture.

Today, let’s flip the spotlight onto you as a parent.

Here’s where parenting becomes confusing.

You may be trying to help your child, but your approach may be speaking the wrong language.

A Protector Parent may see danger where an Explorer Child sees adventure.
A Nurturer Parent may see emotional closeness where an Analytical Child sees pressure.
A Strategist Parent may see correction where a Sensitive Soul sees rejection.
An Adventurer Parent may see freedom where a Dutiful Child sees chaos.

None of these are bad.
They’re clashes of personalities.

And when your parenting style collides with your child’s temperament, normal moments feel like battles:

  • bedtime
  • school mornings
  • homework
  • chores
  • tone of voice
  • simple instructions

It starts to feel personal, even when it's not.

Most parents stop at the child’s personality.

But the real breakthroughs happen when you see your parenting style and their wiring side by side.

Once you understand your own instinctive style, you’ll realize:
• Why your child triggers you in specific ways
• Why some strategies never land
• Why “good parenting advice” sometimes backfires
• Why your spouse reacts differently to the same behavior

It’s not that you’re doing it wrong.
It’s that you’re using the tools that work for your nature, not theirs.

I created a quick Parenting Style quiz that reveals how you naturally try to guide, protect, or motivate your child.

It will show you:
• Your dominant parenting style
• Your strengths
• Your blind spots
• How your wiring interacts with your child’s
• Where conflict is predictable
• How to adjust without losing yourself

You’re not just raising a child.
You’re partnering with a different nervous system.

Tomorrow, I’ll show you how parents go from reacting in the heat of the moment to preventing problems before they even start, just by understanding personality patterns.
